Minister warns of action against corruption

Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain said that wherever there is corruption, there is prevention. Strict action will be taken against those who are accused of corruption. Every office will be made corruption free through digitalization. In the election manifesto, the Prime Minister expressed his determination to make Bangladesh free from corruption. He made this warning in response to a question from journalists after taking the guard of honor at Meherpur Circuit House on Thursday afternoon.

He also said that to build Bangabandhu's golden and smart Bangladesh, corruption would never be tolerated. This journey has started since 2009. 

The obstacles that will come to improve the quality of life of people will be dealt with in these 5 years. And the main obstacle to this journey is corruption. The minister expressed his determination to suppress them with strict hands. He also believed that it is possible to free the country from corruption if the quality of service couls be increased and the service be provided quickly.

In the afternoon, when the minister reached Meherpur Circuit House, a four-hundred police team gave him a guard of honour. At that time, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shamim Hasan, Superintendent of Police (SP) S M Nazmul Haque, District Awami League General Secretary MA Khalek, were present.

Later, the minister attended a reception accorded to him at Dr Samsujjoha Park in the town.
