‘Mazar Sharif’ is a miniseries which will be broadcast on SA television from tomorrow at 8:30pm. The ‘Mazar Sharif’ series is a real reflection of a story that took place at the Iranian Consulate office in Mazar Sharif of Afghanistan.
It can be seen that the Pakistani Taliban attacked the Iranian consulate office and killed five Iranian embassy officers.
In the first case, the Afghan Taliban did not acknowledge the killing, but later admitted it through the United Nations.
When the Iranian government didn’t understand what led them to this fate, about 2,70,000 Iranian troops were stationed at the Afghanistan border. Iran continues to push the UN to justify this through its diplomats. And thus goes on the story of this TV miniseries.
Abdul Hassan Barazideh directed the miniseries to handle such a factual event.
