Popular actress of present times Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, ‘Network Er Bahire’ famed actor Shariful Razz and Yash Rohan starrer film titled ‘Poran’, directed by Raihan Rafi. The film is finally being released to the theaters after two years on the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.
On Thursday June 16, the matter was confirmed to the media by the director himself. In 2019, the film has completed its work and was supposed to be released on Valentine's Day 2020. A teaser was also released for that purpose. Since its release, the teaser has led to discussion and criticism on social media. However, the film got stuck due to the pandemic situation.
Regarding the context he said that they have started working for the release of 'Poran' on Eid. If all goes well, viewers will be able to enjoy the film on Eid.
After the release of the teaser of 'Poran', many people thought that it was based on the incident of the much-talked story of Barguna’s 'Rifat-Minni'. They claim that the movie 'Poran' is based on the gruesome event. From the teaser of the film, it appears to be featured a love-triangle.
And that the character of murdered victim Rifat is being played by Yash Rohan. Shariful Razz will play the character of the killer Noyon Bond and Mim to be appeared in the character of the wife and girlfriend. The teaser also revealed that Shariful Razz and Yash Rohan are both in love with Mim and Razz was seen as a violent criminal. On the other hand, Rohan appears as a polite and decent guy. Supposedly, conflicts arise between the two lovers for Mim. It also showed Mim trying to hold back Razz who seems very angry. Finally, the police arrest Razz and it is quite remarkably similar to Rifat’s killing.
However, neither the producer Rafi nor his associates have clarified the matter. According to them, it is a movie based on true events. Here you can find similarities in the surrounding area. However, the audience can understand the main story only after watching the whole movie.
Apart from Shariful Razz, Bidya Sinha Mim and Yash Rohan the film also features artistes like Sarkar Apu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rosie Siddiqui, Lutfar Rahman George, Rashed Mamun Apu, Mili Bashar and others. The music of the movie is directed by Emon Chowdhury and Naved Parvez under the production of Live Technologies.
