Milestone Preparatory KG School, a branch of Milestone College, marked the 54th Great Independence and National Day with a series of events.
The celebration commenced with the entire school singing the national anthem in unison and included activities such as an Independence fair, special discussions, cultural performances, and prize distribution.
Students from Milestone Preparatory KG School's Diabari campus actively participated in the Independence Day festivities held at Milestone College's permanent campus in Diabari, Uttara.
Founder and Advisor of the college, Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.), and Executive Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School, Rifat Nabi Alam, graced the occasion as guests of honour. Also present were Captain Jahangir Khan, NPP, PSC (Retd.), Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School Diabari Campus, and head teacher Khadija Akhter.
One of the highlights of the event was the Freedom Fair organized on the school's Diabari campus, featuring various displays by students. Students from classes 6th to 8th showcased handwritten wall papers depicting the history of the liberation war and the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh's freedom.
The celebration concluded with a captivating cultural program and prize distribution ceremony. Students presented patriotic solo and group performances that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
