(Dhaka, June 17, 2019) Rebecca Tadikonda, MetLife’s Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Growth Markets, Asia, is visiting Bangladesh from June 18 – 20, 2019.
Ms. Tadikonda oversees MetLife’s businesses in the high-growth markets in Asia including Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam.
Across these seven markets, Tadikonda is driving accelerated growth by enhancing distribution (partnerships, agency, and digital), leveraging digital and innovation, and increasing collaboration and co-investments in capabilities shared across the region.
Commenting on her visit, Tadikonda said, “Bangladesh is an important strategic growth market for MetLife with immense business potential. With our deeply rooted presence and comprehensive understanding of the local market, we will continue to deliver best in class services and introduce digital innovative solutions to meet the changing financial needs of Bangladeshi customers.”
During her visit, Tadikonda will meet several important stakeholders including local senior management and agency managers to help MetLife Bangladesh sustain its growth momentum and identify avenues to faciliate innovation and service excellence.
MetLife Bangladesh is the largest life insurer in the country. It serves over a million customers and is a major employer in Bangladesh with about 16,000 field force and employees.
