Lionel Messi has no plans to leave Barcelona, despite the public spat with sporting director Eric Abi

Sky Sports are reporting that sources close to the Argentinian believe he is not thinking of leaving the Camp Nou this summer, and will fulfil the rest of his current contract.
The 32-year old is contracted to the Catalans until the end of 2021 although it is believed the club are interested in extending his current deal.

Barcelona captain Messi responded to these comments via his personal Instagram page, accusing Abidal of ‘dirtying’ the players and encouraging the Frenchman to ‘name names’.
This has sent the rumour mill wild about the potential departure of one of the best players to play the sport.
