Mercantile Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (NESCO) recently.
The agreement was signed by the Senior Vice President and Zonal Head, North Bengal Region of Mercantile Bank Limited ASM Zakir Hossain and Deputy General Manager (Admin and Human Resources) of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited ABM Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed on behalf of their respective organizations at the NESCO head office in Rajshahi.
Under the agreement, Mercantile Bank will facilitate the collection of electricity bill from the customers of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited through Real Time Online Banking System, Mobile Financial Service “MyCash”, Digital Banking App (MBL Rainbow), Agent Banking and other delivery channels.
Managing Director Engr Zakiul Islam, Executive Director (Admin & Finance) Sayed Golam Ahammad, and Chief Engineer (Acting) Distribution Area, Rajshahi Md. Abdur Rashid of Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited and Vice President and Head of Rajshahi Branch Abdul Matin, and AVP and Head of ILM Division (Acting) Tapon James Rozario from the Bank along with other officials of both the organizations were present in the ceremony.
