Mehazabien, Nirab to perform at ‘Lal Shobujer Mohauthshob’

The month of victory starts today, to mark the 50th anniversary of the victory of Bangladesh an event titled ‘Lal Shobujer Mohauthshob’ is starting at Hatirjheel Amphitheater, a beautiful place of the capital it will be held from December 1 to 16.

On the first day of the event, actor Nirab and Mehazabien will perform with the band Durbin along with the popular song titled 'Jwale Otho Bangladesh' sung by Arefin Rumi.

On Tuesday, the actor himself confirmed the matter to media. Nirab said that they are busy rehearsing the song. The two of them are getting ready to match the words and melody of the song. The most popular line of the song is ‘Lal shobuj-er bijoy nishaan haate haate choriye dao '.

Nirab said, 'After two years, me and Mehazabien will perform on stage again. So, both of us are making extra preparations. Moreover, it is a very big event. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the event. I hope we will organise the first event of the month of victory.

The 16-day festival is being organised by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the victory and with the overall support of Dhaka North City Corporation.

It is learnt that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the festival on today. Adviser to the Prime Minister on Private Industry and Investment Salman F Rahman, MP will also be present as a special guest. Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Atiqul Islam will be present as a guest. The inaugural function will be presided over by FBCCI President Md Jasim Uddin.

At the end of the inaugural event there will be a colorful cultural presentation. Where Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya, Kaushik Hossain Taposh and more than 50 artistes will perform. More than 50 artistes of drama-cinema including Nirab-Mehazabien will perform with different songs on the stage. There will be special documentaries on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and special fireworks.
