A prayer and a discussion meeting were held on Tuesday for the salvation of the departed soul of Abdul Gaffar Khan, the editor-in-chief of the National Daily ‘Amar Samay’ in Gazipur.
Mazharul Islam Robin, Gazipur correspondent of Daily ‘Amar Samay’ and organizing secretary of City Press Club presided over the function organized in Gazipur City Press Club.
City Press Club President Manjur Hossain Milon, Co-President Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary, and The Dailly Bangladesh Post Gazipur Correspondent Mehedee Hasan Sohel, Treasurer Md. Monir Hossain, Member Md. Hasan Ali, Gazipur Sadar Correspondent Ibrahim and journalist Sadiqur Rahman Sagar spoke on the occasion.
During the discussion, various aspects of the colorful life and service-oriented mentality of journalist Dr. AG Khan were highlighted.
