Mymensingh City Corporation Mayor Md Ikramul Haque Titu inaugurated the construction of RCC road from Townhall Junction to Anandamohan Government College Gate on Thursday afternoon. The length of the road to be constructed at a cost of Tk 60 lakh is 426 meters.
During the inauguration, the mayor said that while carrying out development work, people should be aware of the need to avoid suffering. The work must be completed on time. At the same time, the citizens have to be tolerant. During the construction of the road, it is necessary to refrain from activities that could harm the construction work.
Ward Councilors Md Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Selina Akhter and Md Niaz Morshed, Chief Engineer Md Rafiqul Islam Miah, Assistant Engineer Md Azaharul Haque and others were present at the time.
