Abdul Matlub Ahmad, chairman of Nitol Niloy Group and former president of FBCCI, visited newly built dockyard at Ishwardi in Pabna on Monday.
He reached there by helicopter at about 11:00 am. At the time, employees of the Nitol Niloy Group and local businessmen welcomed him with bouquet.
Nitol Niloy Group has built the dockyard on 27 bigas of land adjacent to the Pabna Sugar Mills.
After visiting the dockyard, Abdul Matlub Ahmad spoke at a brief rally.
Co-chairman of FBCCI MA Aziz, industrialist Saidul Islam Manna Sarder, managing director of Khairul Group of Industries Khairul Islam, director of Aba Jute Mills Abu Basar Siddique, chairman of Dashuria Union Parishad Bakul Sarder were also present at the time.
