Masks, hand sanitizers distributed in Jamalpur

Free masks, hand sanitizers and leaflets have been distributed among the locals and pedestrians in Jamalpur town at the initiative of Habibur Rahman Welfare Foundation at a time when the lives of the people of the country have come to a standstill due to the second phase of corona outbreak in Bangladesh. 

The distribution of masks, hand sanitizers and leaflets started on Saturday morning at Bakultala in the city under the auspices of Habibur Rahman Welfare Foundation.  Mayor of Jamalpur Municipality and Mayor Alhaj Mohammad Chanowar Hossain Chanu inaugurated the distribution of free masks and hand sanitizers and taught masks to pedestrians. 

Apart from this, the officials of Habibur Rahman Welfare Foundation distributed masks, hand sanitizers and leaflets at various important places in the town.  Habibur Rahman Welfare Foundation President Sabaibane Mosharraf Pial, General Secretary Nure Alam Rana, Vice President Shahadat Hossain Rohan, Nadeem Haider Likhan, Joint General Secretary Rafiul Islam Zakir, Kamran Reza Anand, Organizing Secretary Fahaduzzaman Talukder Sajib and others were present at the occasion.  

Publications Secretary Rabiul Islam Robi, Health and Medical Affairs Secretary Sahan, Sports Affairs Secretary Mokaddes Hossain Nipun, Executive Member Abdullah Al Shakur and others.  

During the distribution of masks, the chief guest Chanowar Hossain Chanu said that when the lives of common people have come to a standstill due to the second phase of corona outbreak in Bangladesh and the world, he kept himself safe from Kovid-19 infection and encouraged others to stay safe.

He further said that keep the hands germ free with alcohol based hand sanitizer and wash hands thoroughly with regular soapy water.  Always use a mask.  

When sneezing or coughing, cover your face and nose with your elbows and then wash your hands with soap and water.  Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.  Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet) from others.  Follow the health rules as per the government's instructions to avoid Kovid-19.
