The CCC mayor said that many people in Bangladesh are working abroad and earning large amount of remittances.  These remittances are a great means of achieving growth in Bangladesh.  However, a large part of our human resources employed abroad are inefficient as compared to the neighboring countries.  If they were efficient, the remittance supply pipeline would be more prosperous and would have a positive impact on the national economy.

Certificate-based education alone never changes a person's destiny and ensures employment, he said.  Therefore, it is imperative to combine the vocational technology practice of the conventional education system with the efficient curriculum in their respective fields.  He expressed satisfaction over the assistance provided to 1710 apprentices in 19 trades so far under the LIUPC project.
