Locals and students of college and school in Thakurgaon said that many others were involved in the gruesome killing of minor schoolgirl Sumona whose body was exhumed from floor of a room of a juvenile school boy. A 13-year old schoolboy only can’t commit such heinous crime. The minor girl was killed in planned way. The murderers have to be identified and arrested without any delay, they demanded.
The demand raised in a human chain formed by school and college students in Thakugaon district town on Friday protesting the murder of Sumona.
Earlier, the students brought out a procession from Boromath area in the town. Police exhumed the body of Sumona Haque 9, daughter of Jewel of Goalpara area and a Class Three student of Thakurgaon Government Girls High School, from the neighboring house of Yasin Ali on Thursday night. Police also arrested teenager Reaz Ahmed Kanon 13, son of Yeasin and Class Nine student of Thakurgaon Government Boys High School, in connection with the killing.
Police suspect, the killing might be committed as an act of juvenile delinquency. In the hour-long human chain, the students of school and college said that the murderer is a hideous person. He not only killed the victim brutally but also buried her body in his house. He could not have done this alone and others are involved in this murder.
