Manna makes virtual comeback in new sci-fi series!

Manna, the beloved icon of Dhaka cinema, continues to captivate audiences even 16 years after his passing. His films still resonate with fans, with clips from his movies circulating on social media platforms.

Now, in an unprecedented move, Manna is making a virtual return to the screen. The late actor will be featured in the science fiction series 'Blackstone', directed by emerging filmmaker Shahriar Gaalib, portraying an action-packed role.

The trailer for the series was recently unveiled on Blackbox's YouTube channel, offering a glimpse into the storyline. The protagonist's life takes a dramatic turn after encountering a mysterious stone, leading to thrilling action sequences. 

The trailer concludes with a poignant appearance by Manna, stirring nostalgia among viewers.

The series, slated for release on April 1, has already garnered widespread acclaim from online audiences.

Speaking about the project, producer Shariar Gaalib expressed his dedication to honoring the memory of the late actor. He noted the use of AI technology to resurrect deceased actors, a practice often seen in Hollywood, and aimed to replicate this approach in Bangladesh by featuring Manna in the series.

In the narrative, a powerful extraterrestrial stone crashes to Earth, profoundly impacting the life of the main character. Upon touching the stone, he gains supernatural abilities, disrupting his normal existence and setting the stage for a gripping tale of adventure and intrigue.
