A hen belonged to Mohammad Mohsin Reza of Champtali area under Lama upazila of Badarban is laying egg-shaped mangoes for several days. Neighbours aling with the owner of the hen have become surprised to watch such pointed, curved mango like eggs.
Sub Assistant Officer of the Department of Agriculture of Lama upazila Mohammad Mohsin has posted photos in the facebook two mango shaped eggs laid by his hen. en which has created a huge sensation among his neigbours and the FB users.
It is learnt, the hen of Mohsin Reza has been yielding such mango shaped eggs for last couples of days. Mohsin Reza further informed, he rear poultry birds at his house for several years and the hen which is yielding such peculiar shaped egg is nearly one year old.
By watching egg of such mango shaped peculiar mangoes, he was ashtonised. He further said the yolk inside the egg is like that of a regular shaped egg.
The peucliar shaped eggs have been sent to the Department of Animal Resources in Dhaka for the experiment, he added.
