Shoriful claimed six wickets conceding 59 runs in three matches. The left arm medium pacer took three wickets for 26 runs in the first T-20 match at Mclean Park, Napier on December 27. Bangladesh won the match by five wickets to spare eight balls to play. The second match was washed out due to rain when the Black Caps were 72 for two from 11 overs.
Shoriful bagged one wicket in the second T20 at the cost of 16 runs from two overs. The third and final outings the pacer pouched two wickets by 17 runs from 3.4 overs. Shoriful claimed 52 wickets in 32 matches in all the three formats in this year.
