Man killed in Thakurgaon clash

A man died while undergoing treatment in Jamun Masaldangi village of Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon. The deceased was identified as Ruhul Amin (40).

According to the case sources, a quarrel broke out between the two parties over the eating of sweet potato doga by a goat in Jamun Masaldangi village of Haripur upazila. At one stage, Ruhul was hit on the head by an opponent and he was seriously injured.

He died while undergoing treatment at Dinajpur Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital on Friday afternoon.

When the family of the deceased filed a case with the Haripur police station, the police arrested two persons named Kabir and Shefali.

Later, his family and locals rescued him and took him to Haripur Hospital. The doctor referred him to Dinajpur Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital. Ruhul Amin died at 1:30 pm on October 9 while undergoing treatment there.

Ruhul's family claimed that he had been beaten to death. They demanded that the culprits be brought to justice and brought to justice. Meanwhile, police arrested a woman and a man soon after the case was filed.

Haripur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Aurangzeb said a case of assault has been registered and two persons have been arrested. As the man named Ruhul died while undergoing treatment, the case will now be converted into a murder case.
