A father of a young girl was killed because of a kick by a stalker at Sharothi mill area in new town of Jashore Town on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzaq (42) son of Fajor Ali Biswas of Jashore new town.
Police also arrested killer Hossain Ali 34 son of Abul Kalam of the new town area.
The deceased’s son Samiul Islam Rajon said,Neighbor, Hossain Ali, often teased Abdul Razzaq's daughter. Hossain Ali was blackmailing with some photos of the girl and gave her immoral proposal.
At one stage, Hossain Ali threatened to publish photos in the Internet if she did not agree to his immoral proposal.
Then the girl informed the matter to her parents. Father Razzak protested and threatened Hossain Ali after a quarrel between them. At that time, Hossain Ali kicked on Razzaka's chest . Razzak fell ill; locals rescued him and took him to Jashore General Hospital.
Kajal Kanti Mallik, a doctor on duty, declared him dead. Later receiving the news, police rushed to the Razzaq's house and sent the body to the hospital for autopsy.
Mohammad Moniruzzaman, officer in charge of Jashore Kotwali police station, said that Hossain was blackmailing the girl with some picture.
Razzaq was killed because of Hossain's kick . Hossain was arrested on this charge. A case was filed with Jashore Kotwali police station.
