A man was killed by his son at Shyahpur village under Krishnanagar union at Kaliganj upazila in Satkhira on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Shamsur Rahman Dhali of the village.
The incident took place at Shyahpur village at about 10.30am. Locals said that in the morning, the sons and daughters of Shamsur Rahman Dhali were involved in a clash, at one stage of dispute over their land Shamsur Rahman fell on the spot when the boy Miyaraj hit him with a stick on the slope.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kaliganj Police Station Delwar Hossain confirmed the matter. He that police had visited the spot. The body of the victim was recovered.
