A man died after being hit by a motorcycle in the Konapara area of Dhaka's Jatrabari on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 40, son of Sirajul Islam of the area.
Kamal was taken to a local hospital in a serious condition. Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) as his condition deteriorated. After little while doctor declared him dead.
Md Akhter Hossain, the brother of the victim, said that a speeding motorcycle hit his brother while he was crossing the road after completing his work in his workshop.
The body has been kept at the hospital morgue, said DMCH police outpost In-Charge Inspector Bachchu Mia.The matter has been informed to the concerned police station, he added.
