Members of RAB-6 arrested one person with Yaba from Mother and Child General Hospital area under Darshana Pourasabha in Darshana Thana of Chuadanga district at about 3:30 pm on September 19.
The arrestee was identified as Rustom Ali, son of Gausul Ali of village Ramnagar in Darshana Thana of Chuadanga district.
It is learnt from RAB, on information a team of RAB raided the area under the direction of Md. Kamaluddin, Company Commander in charge and HM Shafiqur Rahman, Squad Commander of RAB, intercepted a motor cycle and arrested motor cyclist Rustom Ali from the place.
After searching 260 pieces of yaba was recovered from his possession. The motor cycle was also seized by the RAB members from him. A case was filed with Darshana Thana. Seized motor cycle and yaba were deposited to the Thana. Rustom was handed over to police.
