Man held for violating 11-yr child

RAB-14, CPC-2 members has arrested a man named Mahmudul Hasan Sagar from Jhawail area of Barhatta upazila in Netrokona district, for violating an 11-year-old child at a rest house in Kishoreganj railway station. 

RAB-14 CPC-2, Kishoreganj Camp’s Company Commander Lt. Commander M Shovon Khan led the special operation. RAB gave details about the operation at a press conference on Friday noon. Detainee Sagar is the Son of Abdul Jalil of East Tarapasha area of the district town; he is also a 4th grade temporary employee of the engineering department of Railway.

According to RAB, Sagar took the 5th grader child from her home in the station area to the VIP rest house of the railway station on Monday (20 September) evening telling her about a birthday party. Later, he violated her in the toilet of the rest house. 

Hearing the child's scream, GRP police and station men broke down the door and rescued the child. At this time Sagar escaped through the window. Later, the child's brother Hossain Islam Payel (25) filed a violation case with the Railway Police Station.

Lt Commander M Shovon Khan told that the RAB started arresting the accused soon after the shocking incident. After confirming his whereabouts, he conducted a special operation in Jhawail village of Barhatta in Netrokona district around 3:30 am on Friday (October 8).  

At that time, Sagar was arrested while hiding in the house of one of his distant relatives. The transfer is being processed at Kishoreganj Railway Police Station for further legal action.
