A six-member delegation led by Professor Dr Abu Bakar Suleiman of the University Technology MARA, Malaysia called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Monday at the latter’s office of the university.
Professor Dr Kazi Mostak Gausul Hoq and Associate Professor Dr Md Anwarul Islam of DU Information Science and Library Management Department were present on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs between the University of Dhaka and the University Technology MARA, Malaysia. They stressed the need for producing skilled graduates at both the universities through training and internship programmes. They also discussed the possibilities of signing a MoU between the two universities to introduce these programmes.
