A five-member delegation led by Prof. Say Sok Kwan, Vice-President of Tunku Abdur Rahman University of Management and Technology, Malaysia called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Thursday at the latter’s office of the university.
The members of delegation were Prof. Dr. Karthiyani Shanmugan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Wee Chu Kok, Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business, Prof. Dr. Tan Hui Yin, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Prof. Dr. Yeo Kwok Shien, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs between Dhaka University and Tunku Abdur Rahman University of Management and Technology. The possibilities of exchange of teachers, researchers and students between the two universities were also discussed in the meeting. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
