Freedom fighter Dr. Makhduma Nargis Ratna has been elected Acting Chairman of the Presidium of Kendrio Khelaghar Asar, a national youth organisation.
She was unanimously elected to this position in the meeting of the organisation's central committee at the capital's Shishu Kalyan Parishad on Friday.
General Secretary of the organisation Professor Pranay Saha, Presidium Members: Kamal Chowdhury, Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Professor Sharif Ahmed, Shafiqur Rahman Shahid, Altab Hossain, Hannan Chowdhury, Hasan Tareque, Sunil Sarker, Ashokesh Roy, Abdul Mannan, Aniket Acharya, Firoj Alam and Sujan Majumdar, also spoke with Dr. Makhduma Nargis Ratna in the chair.
At the end of the meeting, it was informed that she was replaced in this position on August 4 after the death of the chairman of the presidium of the organisation Professor Panna Kaiser.
