Newly elected lawmaker Mahul urges Jhenaidah journos

Naser Sharier Zahedi Mahul, newly elected independent lawmaker with Eagle from Jhenaidah-2 seat, had urged upon the journalists to discharge their duties with responsibility so that the people can be informed about the reality avoiding fabricated news. 

He said the media people can play vital role in nation building activities where the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was doing everything to take the country in the apex within a few years, that she had proved with her activities. 

Mahul was speaking in a press conference at Musa Mia ICT centre in Jhenaidah town on Tuesday noon.

Activities of a section of dishonest politicians were dominating in the district making divisions among the political leaders and activists for years together which was liable for violence in rural villages where hundreds of people were locked in clash with lethal weapons on daylight. 

The dishonest persons were misleading the common people in the name of politics, especially in the remote villages. 

Following broadcasting of a number of news items in some electronics media and social medias as those have impact throughout the globe now a days. 

Positive thinking with the same attitude might help build a good nation with the activities of the journalist community.

Mahul had assured of establishing a specialized hospital for cancer, cardiac and some other complicated diseases patients, a medical college, a university and connect Jhenaidah with nearby railway linked districts with the cooperation of the people of all walks of life. 

He was hopeful to achieve the goal as the kind hearted Prime Minister would consider the same for the interest of her people living in the south-western parts of the country like Jhenaidah.

Major general (retired) Salah Uddin Maizi, another newly elected lawmaker from Jhenaidah- 3 seat suddenly appeared in the press conference.

 He said he (Salah Uddin Miazi) along with two other senior law makers in Jhenaidah will work under the leadership of Naser Sharier Zahedi Mahul to make the district livable for all with peace and prosperity.
