A sixth-grade madrasa student was allegedly violated in Sakhipur of Shariatpur's Vedharganj upazila on Monday. The incident took place at Aftab Uddin Sarkar Kandi village in DMkhali union of the upazila.
The 12-year-old girl was admitted to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital for medical examination. The victim is the daughter of Farmer Dulal Mollah and a student of the local Charchanda Dakhil Madrasa.
The family members of the violator are threatening the family of the girl as they want to file a case in this regard. The alleged violater Zainab, 16, has been absconding since the incident.
