Madhab Malanchi Kaina drama has been staged in the context of Mymensingh Gitika, in Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) by the Department of Theater and Performance Studies. The technical show was held on Monday, March 2 at 3.30 pm and the press show at 6.30 pm in the evening. JKKNIU Vice-Chancellor AHM Mostafizur Rahman and Assistant Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies Kamal Uddin were present at the press show.
After the show, the Vice-Chancellor said, "Madhab Malanchi Kaina has been performed extremely well in resorting to the Mymensingh Gitika. The pleasant service reminded me of my past life and for a while I started to think that I was Madhav (the central character)." The play's director and assistant professor Al Zabir directed the play. The director said, "Saidur Rahman Baiyati collected the Madhavan Malachi Kaina Palagan and this was the first play in the stage in Bangladesh.
This play was served on the turn of the Greater Mymensingh region. The play will be staged on Tuesday and Wednesday at 3pm in the afternoon and 6pm in the evening at the studio theater of the department.
