Eid gifts were given among poor, helpless and low-income people in Sarishabari Upazila organised by BGD Foundation on Friday.
Eid gift items were- sarees, lungies, children's clothes and various food items. The Eid gifts were distributed at the home of BGD Foundation Chairman Lions Shafiqul Islam in Bilbalia village of Mahadan Union of Upazila on Friday morning.
Acting Superintendent of Bilbalia Mahila Dakhil Madrasah Mohammad Abdur Rauf was present as Chief Guest. Among others, Humayun Kabir, Member of Central Awami League's Religious Affairs Sub-Committee and Managing Director of Mirpur Ideal Institute, Delwar Hossain and retired officer of Agrani Bank and Sudhijan were present as special guests. New clothes were given to more than 200 men, women and children as Eid gifts.
