Lohagara upazila locked down

The entire area of Lohagora upazila was declared locked down after four doctors and a staffer in the Upazila Health Complex in Narail had been affected on Wednesday evening at 3:00. 

Mukul Kumar Maitra Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Lohagara confirmed the matter. He also said that the entire area of Lohagarh Upazila would remain under lockdown until the corona situation turns normal. 

Dr Abdul Momen Civil Surgeon confirmed the report and said that four doctors including a staffer at Lohagara upazila health complex were found positive after corona test on Wednesday morning. The condition of the corona virus affected patients is still normal. 

Currently they are in home quarantine and all of them are getting treatment in their own homes. He also said that out of the 66 corona samples collected from Narail, 63 have been reported so far.  Among the cases, six of them were corona virus positive and the other 57 were negative. The remaining three results of test have not  arrived yet.

Earlier, Syed Sujan Ali (25), son of Syed Nowsher Ali of Parchhatra area of Lohagarh Municipality, who came home from Narayanganj contracted corona virus and took treatment at home. 

Civil Surgeon office sources said the results of the coronavirus  examination on Sujan Ali's body was found positive on April 13 at 9:30  at night.  Later, when the report came out negative. Sujan who got affected by corona is have recovered.
