The government has taken a bold decision to relax the ongoing ‘strict lockdown' for eight days from July 15 to July 23 so that people of the country could celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Azha, one of the major religious festivals of the Muslim Community.
During the period, movement of public transports such as bus, launch and train will be allowed to operate in compliance with the health safety guidelines. It is worth mentioning that in face of the third wave of the infection by coronavirus and death by the virus, the government imposed a week-long lockdown for from July 1 and later it was extended for another week till July 14.
We must follow the health
protocols even after taking
the vaccine for Covid-19
Though the health experts suggested for the extension of the ongoing lockdown for some more days, considering the reality as well as the sentiment of the religious Muslim community, the government took a bold decision of relaxing the restriction. However, to keep the virus in check we have to follow the health guidelines strictly amid the relaxation period.
It is crucial to follow the health guidelines, including wearing masks while in shopping malls and cattle markets. Also, we have to follow the health protocols even after taking the vaccine for Covid-19.
We think that people’s attitude towards the coronavirus would place us in a most unfortunate situation in the coming days if we continue to violate the health rules. However, it is also the responsibility of all organisations and individuals to exercise these precautions Only then we can control the alarming rise of new cases.
