Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP from Chuadanga-1 constituency, called upon the local journalists to avoid yellow journalism. He also called upon them to collect correct information and file report at the newspapers. “You are the mirror of the society,” he told the local journalists.
He made the call while speaking as the chief guest at oath taking ceremony and installation function of newly elected executive committee of Chuadanga Press Club and Chuadanga Sangbadik Samity held at the Press Club auditorium on March 18. The function was presided over by Sadar Alamin, president of the club where Nazrul Islam Sarker, DC of Chuadanga, Jahidul Islam, SP, Sheikh Shamsul Arefin Khokon, chairman of Zela Parishad, Riajul Islam Joarder Toton, former mayor of Chuadanga pourasabha and joint secretary of District awamimeague, Obaidur Rahman Jipu, mayor of Chuadanga pourasabha attended at the function as special guests. It was addressed by Wahiduzzaman Bula, joint convener of District BNP, Azad Malita, president of Chuadanga sangbadik samity and Rajib Hasan Kochi, general secretary of the club.
