A three day long livestock fair has been started in Chuadanga on February 16 on the premises of Upazila Livestock Office. The fair was inaugurated by Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency.
An inaugural function was held on the day. The function was presided over by Dr. Md. Golam Mostofa, District Livestock Officer.
It was addressed by Mohammad Aminul Islam Khan, DC, Jahidul Islam, SP, Rajib Hasan Kochi, General Secretary of Chuadanga Press Club, Johir Rayhan, and Doallin, farmers. Sharmin Akhtar, ADC (general) and Mohammad Ali Jinna, Training Officer of Agriculture Extension Department were present at the function.
A total of 47 stalls have been set up in the fair. Different birds and domestic animals are shown for the visitors.
