Liton, Soumya joins auction party

Four more cricketers is following the footsteps of Shakib al Hasan, Mashrafe bin  Mortaza and  Mushfiqur Rahim as they are auctioning some of their favorite cricketing items to raise funds for COVID-19 affected people in Bangladesh, report agencies.

“Auction 4 Action” which auctioned Shakib Al Hasan’s bat will put the four cricketers cricketing kits up for auction.

“Basically, the one who puts up their collectibles up for auction gets to decide where the proceeds will go. We want to support the foundations like ‘Vidyananda’ or ‘Ek Takar Ahar’ which are working for the people,” Preeto Raza cofounder of Auction 4 Auction was quoted in an English daily.

Liton Das has decided to auction the bat in which he scored a memorable hundred against India in the Asia cup final. Soumya had scored a brilliant 149 runs against New Zealand in their last tour. The left-handed decided to auction that bat to help the needy people who are suffering for coronavirus pandemic. Taskin Ahmed had decided to auction the Hatrick ball against Srilanka from 2017 and Anamul would auction the bat he used to hit a ton against Pakistan in the 2014 Asia Cup.

Earlier Mushfiqur revealed that he would auction his bat, used to score the country’s first double century in Test cricket. Mushfiqur Rahim isyet to decide in which platform he would use to auction.
