Light to moderate rain likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over the country, reports BSS. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Chattogram and Barishal divisions, at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and a few places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country during the time,” according to a Met office release.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest rainfall on Thursday was recorded at 90 millimeters (mm) at Khepupara followed by 78 mm at Teknaf.

Country’s highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 34.0 degree Celsius at Srimangal while the lowest one on Thursday was recorded at 21.1 degree at Tetulia. Thursday’s sunset at the capital was at 5.37pm and today’s sunrise will be at 5.54am.
