Chief Engineer of LGED Abdur Rashid Khan paid tribute to the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara of Gopalganj on Monday morning.
According to sources, the Chief Engineer reached to the mausoleum ar 9-00 am on Monday and paid his deep respect there after placing floral tribute at the foot of the mausoleum.
He also offered Fatiha and read verses from the Holy Quran seeking salvation of the department soul of Bangabandhu and his other martyred family members. He also offered prayer to Allah seeking good health and long life of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and offered Munajat demanding to make the country free from the grip of Novel Corna Virus on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Among others, Additional Chief Engineer of LGED Mosleuddin, Executive Engineer Ehsanul Haque, Senior Assistant Engineer Sarder Ekramul Kabir and Upazila Engineer Faisal Ahmed were present with the Chief Engineer during paying the homage.
