Land service week was inaugurated in Jhenaidah with a view to provide digitalized services for the people. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jhernaidah Mozibor Rahman inaugurated the week as the chief guest at the Old DC Court on Saturday morning.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC, general) Selim Reza, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) SM Shahin, assistant commissioner (AC) land Khan Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, district information officer (DIO) Abu Bakar Siddique, assistant director of the directorate of national consumer rights protection (DNCRP) in Jhenaidah Suchandan Mandal among others remain present as special guests.
The speakers said the people can registrar their names in land mutation, online applicati0on for the purposes, paying land development tax and other related issues during the service week till June 18. The officials of the land department will provide necessary information to the people about the digitalized services.
DC Mozibor Rahman in his speech said the government has been working to ensure better and hassle-free services to the people when the country was marching towards a developed ones led by the rime Minster Sheikh Hasina.
He advised the people get more and more information and services of the land department free of cost when some unscrupulous people were involved in irregularities in the name of the officers and employees of the department.
He said all the government services are ensured free of cost except some government fixed charges where necessary.
