The Mukteshwari River at Arabpur union of Jashore Sadar Upazila was freed from the land grabbers.
The district administration took admirable efforts on the demands of thousands of people on both sides of the river.
Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syed Zakir Hassan led the eviction drive. The eviction drive started from Khayaghat at the Arabpur Union Parishad on Thursday morning. A large number of local people were present on the two sides during the eviction. Syed Zakir Hassan said that they evicted land grabbers from both sides of the river.
