Lakshmipur district AL conference on July 2

An extended meeting of Bangladesh Awami League Lakshmipur district branch was held at the party office on Friday. The meeting was chaired by District A'League President Golam Faruk Pinku and conducted by General Secretary Advocate Nuruddin Chow­dhury MP at the party office. The committee announced the date of the conference of seven upazila.

Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapon read out the instructions of the Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to the media personnel in his keynote address.

Earlier in 2015, the present district committee was formed through the triennial conference of the district. 

Swapan hopes that this will strengthen the organizational structure of the party. This will strengthen the organizational structure of the team. 

He called upon the well-wishers of all levels of the organization to strengthen the organization from now on to strengthen the hand of the PM in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

As per the instructions of Sheikh Hasina, the triennial conference of the expired district AL will be held on July 2, 2022. At the last moment of the meeting, the date of conference of seven expired branches of Lakshmmipur AL was announced. The central leader announced the dates of Sadar and Lakshmipur municipalities on May 11, Kamalnagar upazila on May 12, Ramgati on May 20, Raipur upazila on May 21, Chandraganj Thana on May 25 and Lakshmipur district Awami League on July 2. 

Faridun Nahar Laili , Central Awami League Secretary for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Harunur Rashid, Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary, Sujit Roy Nandi, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary, M Alauddin, District Awami League Leader Shafiqul Islam, Mizanur Rahim, Dr Ehsanul Kabir Jaglul, Awami League leader and mayor Abul Khair Patwari, Awami League leader and mayor Mozammel Haider Masum Bhuiyan, Ismail Khokon, Safiq Mahmud Pintu, Abul Qasim, Bijan Ghosh, Abul Bashar, MA Momin Patwari, Kabir Patwari, Abduzzaher Saju, Delwar Hossain, Abdul Matlab, Russell Mahmud Manna and others were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the party leaders and workers at the time, central leader Swapan said the Awami League would have to come to power with 70 percent votes in the next parliamentary elections. To this end, from now on, the government has to go to the people by presenting the picture of various developments. The Awami League leader said that it is possible only if people are attracted by human service, good behavior and love. He said the people have nothing to do with the BNP. People have lost confidence in BNP. So the people of the country do not want to see the BNP in power.

Addressing the party leaders and workers, he said, "Now many of our leaders have climbed trees through banner festoons, they cannot be found on the ground." The real leaders are those who have taken place in the hearts of the people. He called for making the organization more dynamic by returning to the practice of banner piston politics and taking its place in the hearts of the people. 

Whip Swapan was speaking as the chief guest at an extended meeting of Lakshmipur District AL 

at the party's temporary office on Friday. The meeting was attended by other members of the district committee and leaders of different units.

The conference will further strengthen the organizational process of Awami League leaders and activists in the entire district. This is the expectation of the member of the team.
