Lack of pry school buildgs hampers study

The study of children of nine Primary Schools at Saronkhola is being hampered badly due to want of school buildings. Upazila Engneering Department has sent letters to the school authorities not to use the present dilapidated and risky school building and class rooms five-year ago. The school authorities, however, continue the study of the students by constructing tin-shed school structures. These tin sheds schools are creating various problems in continuing studies, specially during the hot Summer season. Two of these schools are also being used as polling centres. However, being insisted by the Head Masters of the schools, Member of Parliament of Bagerhat-4 constituency Advocate Amirul Alam Milon has sent a Demi Official (DO) letter to the Director General of the Department of Education to build new buildings for those nine primary schools. 

Zakir Hossain, Head Master of Daskhin Amragachhia Primary School informed, built in 1954, the school building of Amragachhi Primary School turned dilapidated and risky and the Upazila Engineer ordered not to use the building through a letter sent on April-28,2019. Later, Tin shed structures were built near the school to continue study and office works of the school. He said, they were in trouble with the students. The sufferings mounts to attend classes amid extreme summer heat.

Abdus Salam Mollah, Head Master of Uttar Rajapur Ideal Government School informed. the school building is in dilapidated state for a long time and the classes were being held there by braving risks. Later, the building was declared 'deserted' and ordered not to use for holding classes in 1019. Presently, the classes are being held by constructing a tin-shed structures. Being informed, MP of Bagerhat-4 constituency Advocate Amirul Alam Milon has sent a DO to the Director General of Education department to build a new building for the school. 

Kabir Hossain, Head Master of Purba Khostakata Government Primary School informed, the condition of the old school being dilapidated and risky, the local MP Amirul Islam Milon has sent a DO letter to the concerned Director General to build a new school building. 

Pipasa Rani, Head Master of Paschim Baniakhali Government Primary School said, the study of the students is being hampered badly due to absence of school building. She mentioned, classes and other jobs are manged somehow by constructing a tin-shed structure near the old building. 

Like those schools, the conditions of No-40 Paschim Khostakata Gov't Pry School, No-42 Janatar Gov't Pry School,104 Tagarbari Gov't Pry School and 87 Bora Rajapur Idean Pry School buidings are the same vulernable. These school building have been declared 'deserted' in 2019 and the classes in these schools are being held by making tin shed structures somehow. 

Upazila Education Officer Ashraful Islam informed, the study of 9 schools in Saronkhola is being hampered badly due to dilapidated school buildings. The lists of risky school buildings are being sent to the concerned authorities two-times a year. The study of those schools are being continued with various problems.  It is necessary to build new building for those schools.

Ferdous Alam, Upazila Engineer of Saronkhola informed, construction of new buildings for the schools will be started with the issuance of the necessary orders from the concerned education department.
