Kishoreganj Zila Parishad provides oxygen cylinders to health organisations

Oxygen cylinders were handed over to 4 institutions of health department by Kishoreganj Zila Parishad for co-operation and human service. On Wednesday morning, Kishoreganj Zila Parished Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Abdullah distributed 31 oxygen cylinders worth Tk. 16 lakh 50 thousand at the Zila Parished premises. On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Abdullah presided over the distribution of oxygen cylinders. Bhairab Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UH&FPO) Dr Bulbul Ahmed, Bajitpur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer (UH&FPO) Dr Synthia Tasmin, Acting Engineer of Zila Parished Abul Khair Sikder, Store Incharge of Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital Anisur Rahman, journalists of print and electronic media were present on the occasion..

It is learned that a total of 31 oxygen gas cylinders were procured for the financial year 2021-22 under the annual development program of the "Zila Parishad Development Assistance" (ADP) at a cost of Tk 16 lakh 50 thousand. According to the demand letter, 13 oxygen cylinders were provided at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital, 6 at Bhairab Upazila Health Complex, 6 at Bajitpur Upazila Health Complex and 6 at Nikli Upazila Health Complex. It may be mentioned that Kishoreganj Zila Parishad has been distributing safety materials, providing relief and financial assistance to Covid-19 period at different times.
