Bashindhara Kings began their AFC Challenge League with bitter experience when they suffered a suicidal goal against Nejmeh of Lebanon on Sunday.
Held at the Changlimthang Stadium Thimphu, Bhutan, after the goalless first half Bangaldesh champions Kings conceded the goal on 49th minute when defender Saad Uddin scored the own goal.
In the day’s other match at the same ground of the group, hosts Paro FC held Oscar Brujon's East Bengal to a 2-2 draw.

It was unfortunate, after ending the first half on goaless draw, Saad trying to clear Nejmah forwards Korani Hasan's shot with a header but ball went into Kings post rather than to seave goal when their keeper Anisur Rahman Zico had nothing to do but to watching ball was going into top corner of the far post.
Even though Nezmeh dominated from the start of the match, Kings created some scoring chances after surviving an early scare. Anisur Rahman denied Nezmeh forward Bilal Sabbagh's shot at the initial stage of the match.
After getting rid of the great threat, Faisal Ahmed got a chance to give the Kings the lead. But was unfortunate not have the goal when a Nezmeh defender cleared the Faisal effort just from the goal line. This time Faisal having the ball possession from a left-side throw-in and took a shot to the post but one of the defenders was just waitig on the goal-line and saved the team from a confirm goal.
After the break Nejmeh went closer twice to score goals but efforts of Jonathan Fernandez's Valery Grishin's were off target. After 80 minutes, Miguel Figueira came off and the Kings increased their lead in the game. But Valerio Tita's team did not get the goal to equalize.
