Kings face BPFC today

Defending Champions Bashundhara Kings, The Kings will take on Bangladesh Police FC (BPFC) of their second encounter in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) at 7 pm on Tuesday. The Kings won over Uttar Baridharra Club by 6-0 on last Friday. BPFC drew 2-2 with Abahani of their first proceedings in the second phase of the BPL at the same venue on that day.  

The Kings are dominating the current BPL and they have lot of chance to clinch the title in this season. They are unbeaten till now and secured 37 points from 13 outings, won 12matches and draw one while BPFC cashed 13 points from the same number of outings. They won three, lost four, and drew six matches so far. 

Before the Kings and Poilce match, six-time champions Dhaka Abahani, the Sky Blue Brigade and relegated team Brother Union (BU), The Gopibagh outfit will lock horns at the BNS at 4 pm. The opening encounter of the Sky Blue Brigade was not happiest one. They shared the points with BPFC. Abahani now in the third position and bagged 26 points from 13 outings. 

Abahani is eager to win the game against BU. They will try their level best. The Gopibagh outfit have nothing to lose. They have no alternative way except a win.
