Abdul Motaleb has been elected as the new chairman of ICMAB Khulna Branch Council (KBC) for the year 2020.
Abdul Motaleb is currently working as the Company Secretary of West Zone Power Distribution Company Ltd. and Director (Finance) of Bangladesh Smart Electrical Company Ltd. with utmost efficiency, honesty and dedication.
Others elected are Vice Chairman Bangladesh Cables Industries Ltd. Khulna Deputy General Manager (Accounts and Finance) and Company Secretary Md. Arifur Rahman, Secretary Eastern Bank Ltd. Khulna Branch First Assistant Vice President Azizur Rahman and Treasurer Khulna Expatriate Welfare Bank Ltd. Vice President A. K. M. Nazmul Alam.
The pledge of development has gained importance in this election. The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has been creating skilled professional cost and management accountants as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce since 1986 and a member of the Federation of International Accounting Standards Board (FIASB).
