UNICEF India (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) has appointed Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan as its National Ambassador, further solidifying her unwavering dedication to championing children's rights. Transitioning from her previous role as a celebrity advocate, Kapoor Khan's elevation to National Ambassador was officially announced on May 4, marking a significant milestone in her long-standing collaboration with UNICEF India since 2014.

This cohort includes Gauranshi Sharma from Madhya Pradesh, Kartik Verma from Uttar Pradesh, Nahid Afrin from Assam, and Vinisha Umashankar from Tamil Nadu.

Their collective dedication underscores UNICEF India's commitment to amplifying young voices and effecting positive change for children and adolescents nationwide.
