JUPC new adviser takes charge

Newly nominated adviser of Jahangirnagar University Press Club (JUPC) Professor Dr Muhammad Sayadur Rahman on Saturday took charge by function at JUPC office. 

Conducted by JUPC general secretary Nur Hasan Nayeem, former adviser Prof Dr. Kabirul Bashar said, During my tenure as an adviser in the last 2021-22 session, a very cordial relationship has been formed with the organization.  I wish the success of JUPC in the practice of objective journalism. Prof Sayadur said, I have been with the press club since its inception.  One of the salient features of the organization is its growing awareness of independence.

From here, many are working in the top government and non-government organizations of the country.  I will continue to cooperate with the organization to the best of my ability.  Presided by JUPC president Emon Mahmud, former JUPC general secretary Khalilur Rahman and other office bearers and members of the organisation were present at the function.

Earlier, executive members of JUPC nominated Professor Bashir Ahmed as adviser for 2022-23 session at their executive meeting held on May 21.

Dr. Sayadur is a professor of Public Administration department and is now serving as the teacher in- charge of JU transport office.
