Judges are citizens of the country, so they have a responsibility to take part in the protest against the vandalism of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's sculpture.

Judges made the remarks at a human chain organized by Bangladesh Judicial Service Association in front of Dampara Police Women's Welfare Association (Punak) in Chattogram city on Saturday morning.

Protesting against the vandalism of Bangabandhu's sculpture, the judges said, “Judges not only judge, they know how to take part in the protest procession too”.

There is no compromise on the question of the father of the nation.  Everyone must work together to protect the honor of the Father of the Nation.

All judges in charge of Chattogram were present at the time. After the human chain, the judges joined the protest rally organized by the departmental and district level government officials and employees at the Shilpakala Academy.
