The Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities on Sunday night have decided to resume in-person classes for all students of undergraduate and postgraduate level from February 22.
The decision was made in an emergency meeting chaired by JU vice-chancellor Prof Dr. Farzana Islam, said a press release signed by Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin, director of JU public relations office.
All the offices of the university will run as per their usual routines, the press release added. The university also instructed the students to abide by the health rules.
JU authorities on January 5, suspended in-person classes till February 6 amid a surge in Covid-19 cases. Later, it was extended till February 21.
