A student of Jahangirnagar University, who was undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital after being hit by a truck on Friday, died on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Fabiha Afifa Srizani, a student of the university’s Economics Department.
Fabiha was put on life support at the hospital and breathed her last at 12:30 pm, said Rony Hossain, an assistant proctor of the university.
Fabiha was injured when the truck hit her while she was crossing the road along with her younger sister in the city's Purbachal area on Friday.
Later, she was taken to Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara.
